News Update
It has been a long time since we posted something and a lot has happened in between. We are still making progress and in a few weeks (latest) the upstairs rooms should all be finished. Very exciting! We got already all the material (flooring, tiles, doors, paint…) except for the carpet that will go into the Master Bedroom, the little hallway and the Master Closet. We got already two new windows installed in the hallway which let good light into that space. The guest bathroom is finished, it turned out pretty nicely, featuring marble flooring which looks pretty awesome.
Susi’s daughter came for a visit beginning of July and that was great joy and fun for all of us. Now she is back in Austria again and we miss her very, very much. We hope that she will come back for Christmas this year. That would be wonderful!
We also helped Robert with another remodeling job in a different house and – oh boy – was that a job! Lots and lots of painting and cleaning! But it’s done now and we can concentrate solely on our house again.
We are going to post new pictures within the next days to document the progress. So please check in again to see what we have accomplished meanwhile.
And now it’s time to go outside and jump into the pool. It’s supposed to be one of these very, very hot summer days today and probably the best way to defeat the heat and humidity…….
